Ah yes,i work for Jaguar Land Rover and when i explained the problem to one of our auto elecs he said the same thing,i will check the wire the second it stops raining,been raining for days now! he mentioned the earth wire to the starter motor may be corroded or have come loose i hope this is the problem because it also sounds easy to fix! many thanks
