The KL22 pump was installed last week and works but the drive circuit in the car doesn’t and may have been damaged by the failure of the old pump (which doesn’t work). So I am looking for a second-hand ECU (Engine Control Unit) Part Number: KFA218881C.
It is possible that an engineer here can repair the original ECU but he does not have a circuit nor a fixture (test rig) for it; he will not be here until Friday and I will be looking for a replacement before then, without much hope. Are there any in Germany, I can barely cope with your site and would be unable to use your eBay properly?
The pumps recommended by John are, I believe, just the pump part inside the assembly which has to be wired into the plate that attaches to the fuel tank. I do not have the resources to test an extra pump but perhaps the next Newbie (with my problem) on your site could buy two, you do not seem to have had many failures so far. According to our eBay the 1997 Xedos 6 used a KL19 pump but I do not know what is different as the pictures look the same.

Die KL22-Pumpe wurde letzte Woche installiert und funktioniert, aber der Antriebskreis im Auto funktioniert nicht und wurde möglicherweise durch den Ausfall der alten Pumpe (die nicht funktioniert) beschädigt. Deshalb suche ich ein gebrauchtes Steuergerät (Motorsteuergerät) mit der Teilenummer: KFA218881C.
Es ist möglich, dass ein Ingenieur hier das Original-Steuergerät reparieren kann, ihm aber weder eine Schaltung noch eine Vorrichtung (Prüfstand) dafür zur Verfügung steht; Er wird erst am Freitag hier sein und ich werde bis dahin ohne große Hoffnung nach einem Ersatz suchen. Gibt es welche in Deutschland, bei denen ich mit Ihrer Seite kaum zurechtkomme und Ihr eBay nicht richtig nutzen könnte?
Bei den von John empfohlenen Pumpen handelt es sich meines Erachtens lediglich um den Pumpenteil innerhalb der Baugruppe, der mit der Platte verkabelt werden muss, die am Kraftstofftank befestigt ist. Ich habe nicht die Mittel, eine zusätzliche Pumpe zu testen, aber vielleicht könnte der nächste Neuling (mit meinem Problem) auf Ihrer Website zwei kaufen, Sie scheinen bisher nicht viele Ausfälle gehabt zu haben. Laut unserem eBay verwendete der Xedos 6 von 1997 eine KL19-Pumpe, aber ich weiß nicht, was der Unterschied ist, da die Bilder gleich aussehen.
