The VIN (vehicle identification number, found in car's papers and on the silver colored plate in the engine bay) is unique to each car and used on each car produced for Europe.
With the VIN and the Xedos-Infotool you can determine informations about your car such as body color, exact build date, etc. - you can not determine informations like last owners, accidents etc.
