the mechanic man says that on the picture (KF 2.0 engine) the finger points at a hole that doesn't exists on the 2.5 engine.

Yes the 2.5 block, only one hole will fit the bearing body! So now i need to buy the bearing body? from a MX-6 (2.5) or ford probe or will Xedos 9 2.5 work?? Possible to modifie the bearing body that i have? :-/ Maby difficult to get this part!! |
Once I did my swap, I had the same problem and I had take the risk to use only one screw.
After 30TKM I had no problems. It make sense to check that screw sometimes. I think you only need the part from Ford Probe MX6 ore 626GE http://www.japanautoteile.de/parts/files//919280199.jpg |

I checked the technical drawings and its a mess!! They changed all lot during some years. So now i know that the drive shaft BRACKET, SHAFT JOINT for the 2.5 engine is different then the joint for 2.0. I found out that Mazda 626 and MX-6 has the right 3 holes mount BUT will my other parts on the drive shaft work? i got new joint set outer. ALSO the bearing balls needs to change to new one! ohhhh when will my car be ready... i hope soon!! = ) |

Another option would be to drill the hole bigger and cut a bigger thread in the engine block. Otherwise you can use helicoil ore threaded bushings.

What is this connections for?

now when they almost is done with the engine swap the have two electric connections they don't understand fully.
Do you see what it could be? The grey is near the top and it goes under some place and the black to the right comes from gearbox. hmmmm :-/ Anyone? THANKS! |
