Where I can find information about car in Germany ?
 

I had bought my car in Latvia about one year ago. I found some tech inspection log sheets in a glovebox with an old car number on them :) The car had an accident in Germany, and it has been moved to Lithuania, where car had repaired. Can I find more information about car by old car number ?

Do you mean the old german licence plante number? If the car is bought in D the previous owner name should be written in the so called german Fahrzeugbrief. Please check if you still have this document.

The VIN (vehicle identification number, found in car's papers and on the silver colored plate in the engine bay) is unique to each car and used on each car produced for Europe.

With the VIN and the Xedos-Infotool you can determine informations about your car such as body color, exact build date, etc. - you can not determine informations like last owners, accidents etc.

Intorion, слушай, напиши по русски, а я постораюсь нормально на немецкий перевести (Intorion, hörmal, schreib es mal auf russisch, und ich werds versuchen es auf deutsch zu übersetzen, damit keine verständlichkeitsprobleme auftreten, vllt meinst du das eine und man versteht das andere)

aaalso jungs,es ist so wie ich es mit gedacht habe :), er möchte laut dem alten kennzeichen erfahren ob das auto unfälle hatte, wenn ja, wieviele, und wieviele vorbesitzer es schon hatte. er sagt, dass er vllt auch den namen des alten besitzers hätte (steht auf dem blatt vom TÜV HU/AU;meint er, aber da steht ja nur der name des prüfers, oder? )
und was man alles überhaupt anhand des alten kennzeich noch über das auto erfahren kann...so :)
