Xedos 6 19" 235/35 ok?
Hello!
Is it possible to have 235/35 19" wheels and tires? Anders8) |
No ;)
Technically the maximum possible dimension is 225/35R18. This dimension is also legally allowable e.g. in Germany without problems. I think in Austria and other european countries too. But on my last Xedos 6 I've mounted 225/35R19. This indeed is really tight and completely exhausts the limits of the available space. In some driving conditions the wheels slightly touched the wheel houses - as long as the suspension geometry (negative camber!) were not perfectly set up. An other problem could be the authority which have to check for street legality of this modification, if there is one in your country. We have our TÜV or DEKRA here in Germany and to got this modification approved so I could drive on public roads legally, this was more than just luck... So, in summary: if you want a wheel dimension that you can use uncomplicated, legally and for daily driving just use 225/35R18 ;) |
