Set the timing 10. Cant fint the mark! :-/
 

I want to check the timing is right but i can't fint the marking for the stroboskop lamp. Checked everywhere on the left side near the water pump and around.

Anyway to check that its 10 degrees without this mark??

The marking is locatet at the crankshaft, right behind the two belts.

Here is a picture of my engine..

the v-belt is in bad shape (!) and you lost the part of the cover where the markings for the timing are - a part of the cambelt is not covered which could lead to serious damage!

Yes I know , I bought the car in this condition and recently received view that they have removed the lower part of the hood. Cheating Jobs . Guess there is lot of work to get a new cover ? Can I set the ignition without cover as long in some way ?

you could create a mask with the markings on your own - if you can get hands on an original cover. but in that case you can install the cover right away too...

Is it same cover on Xedos 6 and 323f 2.0 v6? Both KF engine type

not 100% sure, but i think so. K-engines in general are very similar!
