OBD2 - Xedos 9 - facelift 2002
 

Hi X9 & X6 guys.

I write in English because my German is a bit rusty.
But be welcome to answer in German.

I am looking for OBD2 tester and software for my Xedos 9 - facelift 2002.

Delphi Cars, Opus, Autocom, Eclipse software does not include Xedos 9.
However the "Würth WOW" ver. 5.00.9 does have Xedos 9, but it seams to have communication problems with the ECU in Xedos 9.

Earlier in the process I tested the smal ELM327 tester canbus box with Android Torque Pro software (smartphone app). It works, but does not have full automotive tester functions, reset functions and full fault code reset like the above mentioned professional software have.

Please let me/us know Your experiences with OBD2 testers and software !

I use für my Rexton the Lounch EasyDiag, no other way exept the original Ssanyong-Scanner to read out my automatic transmission.
I had to by the 50€ bluetooth conector and für 30€ the SSangYong software.

Works fine exept:

- updates for only one year
- would be no problem if you don´t change your phone. If you change your phone after one year you have to pay once more for the special software!
- my Samsung S6 says it´s maleware

I also use Torque for Android with a bluetooth ELM327 and it lets me reset any fault without any problem.
