Lower the choke?

Hello!
Is it possible to lower there shoke in rpm?

After the engine swap from 2.0 to 2.5 the choke when the car is cold its to high in rpm i think (2000 rpm first 5secunds then 1700 rpm)

Should it be around 1300 rpm when its choked?

Thanks!

Engines with fuel injection don't have choke!;)

Are you talking about idle rpm?
If yes, have you:
- completelly cleaned the throttle valve (incl. disassembly of idle adjusting screw)?
- adjusted idle rpm after it as per instructions?

Hello! = )

ok no choke? But when its cold its always much higher then 5 minutes later. Then 700rpm.

Do you have instructions? for the idle settings? =)

No i havent cleaned it! I use the throttle house from the 2.5l v6.

ok no choke?

Definitely not!
It is only at engines with carburator.

This is different!
This is higher idle rpm for faster KAT warmup.

Thanks! = )

I also found this one.. The guide!

http://www.mx6.com/forums/2g-mx6-gen...solutions.html

I guess that can be aplyed for the Xedos 6 with 2.5l V6 engine also?

The main point is which diagnostic system and ECU you have.
I guess both of them are still from your X6 KF, right?
Then you need to check how to do it at X6.
But I gueass, that all (Xedos 6 & 9 and MX-6) will have this "TEN" pin at Diagnostic port.

Yes!

What do you think of my setting ( se picture)
What ive red is that this scruv should barely touch the gas throttle but
Here its very more than that.

I will do a real deafult setting tomorow from the guide!

This is not the screw I was talking about....

This is the idle adjusting screw I was talking about:

The screw you marked (left one, red marked) shouldn't be changed. But you can adjust the other one if there is a tolerance (right one, green marked).
