I had the "clicking noise"

in my Xedos 6 V6 - by cold engine start - from the "hydrostossel" on the
behind
3 cylinders from about 50.000 km on my Xedos 6 - V6. At that time the car was about 10 years old.
Never had any noise from the
front 3 cylinders - though !
I tryed the best CASTROL Magnatec 10W-40 with no luck - "KLAKKERN" every morning - at cold engine start !
I used the following additive to remove the noise.
Warning:
Never use "PFTE" additives like SUPER LUPE TEFLON treatment.
I tryed it - is no a waste of money. Had to use "Engine-flush" product to remove the dirt from inner parts of the engine. !
I used RVS-TECH engine treatment (2 treatments after each 5000 km and oilfilter change each time)

Product CLEANS the engine and "hydrostossel" and put a lube and protecting layer all over on the inner parts of the engine.
The oilfilter collects the SHIT in the engine, so You have to follow the instuctions. (Filter change each time you change oil in the future)
If you used "PFTE" TEFLON products before in Your engine - you have to make a engine engine "flush" treatment.
After the engine RVS treatment I always used MOBIL OIL as recomended by Xedos community webmaster Wirthensohn.
And I make oil change each 10000 km. Including
ORIGINAL MAZDA oil filter at each time. NO cheap NIPPON filters -
only Mazda or "FRAM" oilfilters - prevents oil from running back to the

NEVER HAD ANY "HYDROSTOSSEL KLAPPERN" at cold engine start since then -ODO-meter now showing 78.000 km !!!

But now I have automatic transmission problems, but that is another matter.
